The concept of a musical and undivided universe is found throughout time, within many cultures, and most spiritual traditions, and it forms the foundation for many healing systems, including Oriental Medicine. The ancient Taoists recognized that each piece of the universe is linked to the whole and that each piece exists in relation to the other as part of an interlaced network of divine harmony with humanity at the center, a receiver of energy from both heaven and earth. From galaxies to cells, at every level—cosmic, biological, and molecular—the infinite and intelligent universe is governed and regulated by an amazing complexity of cycles and rhythms that span nanoseconds to thousands and millions of years and interrelate and effect one another.

The Acutonics system of sound or vibrational healing has evolved over the past fifteen years. It begins with Oriental Medicine, but draws on cosmological studies and cycles, depth psychology, music theory, physics, metaphysics, mystical traditions, astrological medicine, and physis—the essential nature of all things.

In this one-day workshop practitioners will learn how to integrate the therapeutic use of tuning forks, in place of or in conjunction with acupuncture needles, acupressure, or various massage techniques. Through lecture, slide presentation, clinical theater, and clinical practice, you will learn about the three realms, heaven, earth, and humanity. You will experience the energetics of transformation through the application of high, middle, and low, planetary tuning forks, tuned to the frequencies of the earth, moon, sun and planets directly to acupuncture points, chakras, and points of pain. The course will also explore the use of point poetics, archetypes, correspondences, and sympathies in healing and provide an understanding of the use and efficacy of the Eight Extraordinary Vessels, Source Points, and other transformational energetic gateways.

At the core, the Acutonics® System of Harmonic and Planetary medicine recognizes the profound universal connections between the natural world, body, mind, and spirit, and the role that each one of us plays in the journey toward wholeness — attunement or at-one-ment with all things.

This course is open to all practitioners, and provides fresh new insights into the therapeutic and transformational use of sound vibration for healing.

Register early as class size will be limited to allow for hands-on practical experience. This course is approved by NCCAOM for 6 Professional Development Activity (PDA) Units for acupuncturists and by NCBTMB for 6.5 Continuing Education (CE) Units for Massage and Bodywork Practitioners.

Sound is a potent force with vast creative potential.
Cymatics (the study of wave phenomena and vibration) offers a quantifiable approach to the mysteries of this creative process. As we witness audible sounds animating masses of inert powders, pastes and liquids into dynamic, life-like, flowing forms--we can receive insights into the invisible workings of the universe, and those fascinating processes which govern cause and effect.

While Cymatics demonstrates this visually, in the domain of physics, this process is not restricted to the realm of dense physical structures--its influence is equally at play in the more rarefied, subjective, causal realms of perception, feeling, emotion, thought and belief. It is these subtle vibrations that must be brought into coherency in order to effect lasting change or "sound health."

Jeff will present a four-stage process:

• Alignment (Coherency) and
• Assimilation (Integration/Transformation)

Mandara will present:
an overview of Cymatherapy, a clinical approach employing specific acoustic frequency biosignatures to resonate the tissues in each part of the body, entraining them into their optimum state of function.

"Before and After" X-Rays and ultrasound scans will demonstrate visible proof of healing brought about through integrating the three greatest energy fields in the Universe--the frequencies of sound, light and magnetics, into one modality!

Jeff Volk Poet, producer and publisher, Jeff Volk, has been popularizing the science of Cymatics for over 20 years. In 1984 he produced a series of videos based on the pioneering experiments of Swiss scientist Dr. Hans Jenny.
