In this workshop we will learn about the history and science of sound, as well as using the power of sound as a tool to enhance our yoga and our lives. We will explore ways to combine our yoga asanas with sound, mantra, pranayama, and guided meditation, thus deepening our understanding of the interconnectedness of these various yogic practises. We will focus on freeing the natural voice, developing awareness of the breath and body, clearing the emotional body, listening to our innate wisdom, allowing our creativity to expand, and tapping into our sacred self and our connection with the Divine. This practice of sound healing strengthens our health by regulating our inner rhythms.Ê It also helps to release repressed emotions and traumas, brings out our ability to express ourselves, heightens the senses and makes us receptive to subtler vibrations thus purifying the physical and subtle bodies.
