Bone conduction, the "other way" we receive sound, is often unmentioned when there's talk about hearing. Yet it was identified nearly two hundred years ago and is at the core of most sound-based healing methods. This presentation will investigate bone-conducted sound, discussing mechanisms by which the ear ultimately receives sound/vibratory input conducted through the physical body, and considering its healing influences.
